About IBRUKEM CAPSULE 30'S

  • IBRUKEM CAPSULE 30'S contains the active ingredient Ibrutinib and is used to treat various blood cancers, including mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia, and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). These cancers affect lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell crucial for the immune system. Each cancer differs based on its location, the type of lymphocyte affected, and other specific characteristics.
  • This medication is also prescribed for chronic graft versus host disease (cGvHD) when systemic therapies have failed. cGvHD can occur after an allogeneic stem cell transplant, where a patient receives stem cells from a donor. In GvHD, the donor's cells recognize the patient's cells as foreign and attack them. Before starting IBRUKEM CAPSULE 30'S, inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders, infections, liver problems, or heart conditions, or if you are intolerant to certain sugars. This medicine is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents.
  • Before taking this medication, it's important to tell your healthcare provider about any upcoming surgical or medical procedures. Your doctor might temporarily discontinue IBRUKEM CAPSULE 30'S before such procedures. Women should use effective birth control during treatment and for at least one month after the last dose.
