About IBRUNAT CAPSULE 30'S

IBRUNAT CAPSULE 30'S contains the active ingredient Ibrutinib. This medicine is used to treat certain types of blood cancers. These include mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, and Marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). These conditions are cancers that affect the white blood cells called lymphocytes, which are a key part of your body's immune system. While they all involve lymphocytes, they differ in where they start, the specific type of lymphocyte affected, and other important factors.
Beyond treating specific blood cancers, IBRUNAT CAPSULE 30'S is also prescribed for chronic graft versus host disease (cGvHD) when other standard treatments haven't worked. cGvHD can happen after a person receives stem cells from a donor during a transplant (called an allogeneic stem cell transplant). It occurs when the new immune cells from the donor see the patient's body as foreign and start to attack it. This medicine helps to control this immune reaction.
Before you start taking IBRUNAT CAPSULE 30'S, it's very important to have a detailed discussion with your doctor. Tell them if you have ever had problems with bleeding, any kind of infection (or if you are prone to infections), liver issues, or heart problems. Also, mention if you have an intolerance or difficulty digesting certain sugars. This medication is generally not recommended for use in adolescents and children.
It is also crucial to inform your doctor if you have recently had surgery or if any surgical procedure is planned for the near future. Your doctor might advise you to stop taking IBRUNAT CAPSULE 30'S temporarily before and after certain medical or surgical procedures to minimize risks.
