Take it as recommended by your doctor. Swallow the whole tablet. Do not chew, crush or break. Dianorm Total 60mg Tablet should be taken with meals.

If you forget to take Dianorm Total 60 mg Tablets, take it as soon as possible. However, if the next regular dose is near, do not take the missed dose, skip the dose, and take one dose during the regular dose. Do not double the dose.

Dianorm Total 60 mg Tablet is a combination of three anti-diabetic drugs: gliclazide, pioglitazone and metformin. They work through different mechanisms to enable better glycemic control when single or dual therapies are ineffective. Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea that increases the amount of insulin released from the pancreas and lowers blood sugar levels. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that works by increasing insulin sensitivity. Metformin is a biguanide. It works by reducing glucose production in the liver, slowing the absorption of glucose from the intestines, and further increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
