How FAS 3 KIT TABLET 4'S Works

• Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow, helping clear bacterial causes of genital discharge such as chlamydia.
• Secnidazole is a nitroimidazole that acts against protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, treating trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis. Fluconazole is an antifungal that stops yeast such as Candida from building their cell membrane, treating vaginal and other fungal (yeast) infections.

Nausea or stomach upset, diarrhoea, a metallic or altered taste, and headache or dizziness are the most commonly reported effects. Abdominal pain and vaginal irritation have also been reported. Signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as facial or throat swelling, difficulty breathing, or a widespread rash, need immediate medical attention. Severe or persistent diarrhoea also needs prompt medical attention.

• If you miss a dose of FAS 3 KIT TABLET 4'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

• Store the kit in its original pack, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children and pets.

• Take with or after food to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Complete the entire course exactly as prescribed, even if feeling better
• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for a few days afterwards
• Maintain good hygiene practices during and after treatment
• Seek medical attention for severe abdominal pain, bloody stools, or signs of an allergic reaction
• A harmless, temporary change in the colour of urine or stools has occasionally been reported

• FAS 3 Kit can be taken with or without food, though taking it with food may help reduce the chance of stomach upset. Alcohol should be avoided, since it can react with secnidazole.
