Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort and skin rash are the most commonly reported effects. Headache, dizziness and vaginal yeast infection have also been reported. Signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as facial or throat swelling, difficulty breathing, or hives, need immediate medical attention. Yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or severe or bloody diarrhoea also need prompt medical attention, since these can indicate liver injury or a serious bowel infection.

Allergies

Mega CV is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, skin, urinary tract and teeth.
Each tablet contains amoxicillin trihydrate 500 mg and clavulanic acid 125 mg.
Clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from being broken down by an enzyme some resistant bacteria produce, restoring amoxicillin's effectiveness against them.
This combination has a recognised, though uncommon, association with delayed liver injury, which can appear even after the course ends. Any yellowing of the skin or eyes needs prompt medical attention.
