How MEGALIS 10MG TABLET 4'S Works

• During sexual arousal, nerves release nitric oxide in the penis. This raises a messenger called cyclic GMP, which relaxes the smooth muscle of the blood vessels so blood flows in and an erection forms. The enzyme PDE5 normally breaks down cyclic GMP.
• Tadalafil blocks PDE5, so cyclic GMP lasts longer and the erection response to arousal is stronger. Without sexual stimulation, tadalafil does not cause an erection.

The most common side effects are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, a blocked or stuffy nose, flushing and pain in the limbs. Dizziness can also occur. An erection lasting more than 4 hours needs emergency treatment to avoid permanent damage. Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, sudden loss or reduction of hearing, chest pain, fainting or severe dizziness also need emergency care, and the tablets should be stopped.

• Tadalafil can be taken with or without food. Large amounts of alcohol increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure. Grapefruit juice may raise tadalafil levels.
