  • PLASTOMET 500MG INJECTION contains Methotrexate as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of anti-metabolites and immunosuppressants. This medication is prescribed for the treatment of various cancers, including acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), meningeal leukemia, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, osteosarcoma, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, breast cancer, and head and neck cancer in adults. Additionally, it is used in adults to manage severe psoriasis, a skin condition characterized by red, scaly patches on the body, and to treat rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Before using PLASTOMET 500MG INJECTION, be aware of contraindications. Do not use this medicine if you have a known allergy to methotrexate or any of its other components. Avoid this medication if you have existing kidney or liver problems, blood disorders, or a weakened immune system. It is strictly contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
