  • POMAVIA 4 CAPSULE 21'S is a chemotherapy medication containing the active ingredient Pomalidomide. It belongs to a class of drugs known as immunomodulatory agents. This medicine is prescribed for the treatment of multiple myeloma in adult patients. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that primarily affects plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. In this condition, these plasma cells proliferate uncontrollably and accumulate in the bone marrow, leading to damage to the bones and kidneys. POMAVIA 4 CAPSULE 21'S works by modulating the immune system and directly targeting the cancerous plasma cells.
  • Patients undergoing treatment with POMAVIA 4 CAPSULE 21'S may experience several side effects. Common side effects include shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, back pain, bone pain, dizziness, tremors, upper respiratory tract infections, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, decreased energy levels, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensations, low potassium levels in the blood (hypokalemia), and anemia.
