About SHILCAP TABLET 10'S

  • SHILCAP TABLET 10'S contains the active ingredient Capecitabine, an antimetabolite medication used in combination with other anticancer drugs to treat metastatic colorectal and breast cancer. Cancer involves abnormal, uncontrolled cell multiplication. It also prevents new colon cancer occurrences after complete tumor removal via surgery.
  • Common side effects of this medication include appetite loss, headache, runny nose, fever, hair loss, and dry mouth. During SHILCAP TABLET 10'S treatment, your doctor will regularly monitor your blood counts, prothrombin time, and INR to prevent complications. Inform your doctor about any stomach ulcers, cataracts, lung, heart, liver, skin, or kidney problems before starting the treatment. Also, disclose any planned eye surgery or dental procedures. Report any allergic or unusual reactions to SHILCAP TABLET 10'S to your doctor. This medication can cause fertility issues, so discuss any fertility concerns with your doctor before starting treatment.
  • SHILCAP TABLET 10'S is not recommended for children and adolescents. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have sugar intolerance, as this chemotherapy medication contains lactose.
