CAPIIBINE 500MG TABLET 10'S contains the active ingredient Capecitabine. It belongs to the class of medications known as antimetabolites. Metastatic cancer refers to cancer that has spread from its original site to other parts of the body. This drug is also prescribed to prevent the recurrence of colon cancer following the complete surgical removal of the tumor.
Common side effects associated with this medication may include loss of appetite, headache, runny nose, fever, hair loss, and dry mouth. During treatment, your healthcare provider will regularly monitor your complete blood counts, prothrombin time, and INR to prevent serious complications.
