DASAMAC 70 TABLET 60'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children above one year of age diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) or Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is effective for newly diagnosed Ph+ chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase and also for Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who have shown resistance to other treatments. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow, characterized by an overproduction of white blood cells due to an abnormality in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a prevalent form of blood cancer in children, involves the rapid and excessive multiplication of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.
