DASAZEST 70 TABLET 10'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children above one year of age diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) or Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia. DASAZEST 70 TABLET 10'S is used as a treatment for patients newly diagnosed with Ph+ CML in its chronic phase. It is also indicated for Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who have shown resistance or intolerance to other treatments. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow, characterized by an overproduction of white blood cells due to abnormalities in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, frequently found in children, involves the rapid multiplication and prolonged survival of immature white blood cells known as lymphocytes.
The common side effects associated with DASAZEST 70 TABLET 10'S may include diarrhea, headache, cough, skin rash, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, muscle pain, general weakness, reduced appetite, and alterations in blood pressure (either high or low).
