SPNIB 70 TABLET 60'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children above one year of age diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). SPNIB 70 TABLET 60'S is also used to treat newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) CML in the chronic phase, as well as Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who have shown resistance to other therapies. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of blood cancer characterized by the overproduction of white blood cells, resulting from alterations in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the most common blood cancer in children, involves the rapid multiplication and prolonged lifespan of white blood cell lymphocytes. This medication works by targeting specific proteins within the leukemia cells, inhibiting their growth and spread, thus helping to control the disease.
