Rare but serious skin reactions, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis, have been reported with ambroxol. A rash with blistering or involvement of the mouth, eyes or genitals needs the medicine stopped and urgent medical attention. A marked increase in heart rate, chest pain or palpitations should also be reported promptly.

Chericof LS Cough Syrup is used for a productive cough with thick mucus, particularly when it occurs with bronchospasm in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma or COPD.
