DASATHER 50 TABLET 30'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib, a targeted therapy medication. It is prescribed for adults and children above one year of age diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). This medication is also used to treat newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase. Additionally, it is effective for Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who have developed resistance to other therapies. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of blood cancer characterized by the overproduction of white blood cells due to an alteration in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the most common blood cancer in children, involves the rapid multiplication and prolonged survival of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.
