Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of blood cancer characterized by the overproduction of white blood cells due to alterations in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the most common blood cancer in children, involves the rapid multiplication and extended lifespan of white blood cell lymphocytes.
