Glimfirst MP 1mg Tablet 10's is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Glimfirst MP 1mg Tablet 10's is a combination of two medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which increases the release of insulin from the pancreas in order to lower blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide that works by lowering glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity.
Common side effects of Glimfirst MP 1mg Tablet 10's include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite.
The safety of Glimfirst MP 1mg Tablet 10's during pregnancy is not established. Therefore, it should be used only if clearly needed and advised by the doctor.
It is not known whether Glimfirst MP 1mg Tablet 10's is excreted in breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using it.
