Possible side effects of Tri Glimigem 1/15mg Tablet may include: * Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms can include shakiness, sweating, anxiety, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, and confusion. * Gastrointestinal issues: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. * Headache * Dizziness * Weakness * Skin reactions: Rash, itching, and hives. * Metallic taste * Edema (swelling) in the legs and ankles * Weight gain * Upper respiratory tract infection * Urinary tract infection * Blurred vision * Anemia * Liver problems (rare): Symptoms can include jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), dark urine, and abdominal pain. * Lactic acidosis (very rare): Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, muscle cramps, and difficulty breathing. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience these symptoms. * Allergic reactions: Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; difficulty breathing. TRI GLIMIGEM 1/15MG TABLET 10'S is a combination medicine used to lower high blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medicine is a combination of Glimepiride, Metformin and Pioglitazone.
TRI GLIMIGEM 1/15MG TABLET 10'S works as a combination of three medicines: Glimepiride, Metformin and Pioglitazone. Glimepiride belongs to the class of sulfonylureas that works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin. Metformin belongs to the class of biguanides that works by decreasing glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity. Pioglitazone belongs to the class of thiazolidinediones that works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
