Other possible side effects are headache, dizziness, weakness, and visual disturbances. Less common but potentially serious side effects include allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), liver problems (jaundice, dark urine), blood disorders (anemia, easy bruising/bleeding), and lactic acidosis (muscle cramps, rapid breathing). Consult your doctor if you experience any persistent or severe side effects.

Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially when diet and exercise are not enough to control blood sugar levels adequately.
Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet contains Glimepiride and Metformin as active ingredients.
Common side effects of Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
Drinking alcohol with Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet can increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Therefore, it is advisable to avoid or limit alcohol consumption.
Store Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
The safety of Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet during pregnancy has not been established. It is important to consult a doctor before using it during pregnancy.
It is not known whether Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet is excreted in breast milk. It is important to consult a doctor before using it during breastfeeding.
Symptoms of an overdose of Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), symptoms of which may include tremors, sweating, anxiety, confusion, and loss of consciousness.
Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet may cause weight gain in some patients. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about this.
Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet is usually recommended to be taken with or immediately after food. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Other brands of Glimepiride include Amaryl and Glimsta.
Other brands of Metformin include Glucophage and Metrol.
If you miss a dose of Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
In rare cases, Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet, especially due to Metformin, can cause kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney disease.
Glimicure M2 Forte Tablet can interact with other medications. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements.
