Possible side effects of GLYCLAZAR M OD TABLET may include: Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, metallic taste, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, skin rash, itching, urticaria, liver problems (such as jaundice or hepatitis), blood disorders (such as leukopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia), visual disturbances, and lactic acidosis (rare but serious). Consult your doctor if you experience any of these or other unusual symptoms.

Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's is a combination of two medicines used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels adequately.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's contains two medicines, Gliclazide and Metformin. Gliclazide belongs to the class of medicines called sulfonylureas. It lowers blood sugar levels by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin belongs to the class of medicines called biguanides. It works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, decreasing glucose absorption from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
The common side effects of Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's should be taken with food or immediately after a meal.
If you miss a dose of Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
The safety of Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor.
It is not known whether Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's is excreted in human milk. Therefore, it should not be used during breastfeeding.
Alcohol consumption should be avoided with Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's as it may lower blood sugar levels.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's should be stored at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's is not recommended for patients with kidney disease. Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have kidney disease.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's should be used with caution in patients with heart disease. Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have heart disease.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's is not recommended for children.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's can interact with other medications, such as insulin, sulfonylureas, and warfarin. Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are taking any other medications.
Symptoms of an overdose of Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's include low blood sugar, confusion, sweating, tremor, and seizures.
Glyclazar M OD Tablet 10's should not be broken or chewed. It should be swallowed whole with water.
