NULOC D CAPSULE 10'S is generally well-tolerated, but like all medicines, it can cause side effects. Common side effects may include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, flatulence (gas), and dry mouth. Some people might experience weakness, fatigue, or muscle pain. Less common but more serious side effects can include heart rhythm problems (palpitations, irregular heartbeat), especially with higher doses or pre-existing heart conditions. Other potential serious effects might be allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), kidney issues, bone fractures (with long-term use), or low magnesium levels. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, or notice any unusual symptoms, it's important to consult your doctor immediately.

Allergies
UnsafeNuloc D Capsule 10's is unsafe if you are allergic to Pantoprazole, Domperidone, or any of its ingredients.
NULOC D Capsule is primarily used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcer disease, especially when accompanied by symptoms like heartburn, acidity, nausea, or vomiting. It helps reduce acid production and improve the movement of food through the digestive system.
NULOC D Capsule contains two active ingredients: Pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic agent).
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach, relieving acid-related symptoms. Domperidone helps in the movement of food from the stomach to the intestines, thereby reducing nausea, vomiting, and bloating, and preventing food from backing up into the esophagus.
It is usually recommended to take NULOC D Capsule on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning, about 30 minutes before your first meal. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Common side effects may include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, flatulence, and dizziness. These are usually mild and temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
Although rare, serious side effects can include severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing), liver problems, kidney problems, bone fractures (with long-term use), and heart rhythm disorders (due to Domperidone, especially in patients with pre-existing heart conditions). Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any serious symptoms.
NULOC D Capsule should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly necessary and prescribed by a doctor, as there is limited data on its safety. Always discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare provider.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or contact your local poison control center. Symptoms of overdose might include severe side effects mentioned previously or unusual symptoms.
Do not stop taking NULOC D Capsule without consulting your doctor, even if your symptoms improve. Stopping prematurely might lead to a return of symptoms. Your doctor will advise you on the duration of treatment.
Yes, NULOC D Capsule can interact with certain medications, including blood thinners (e.g., Warfarin), antifungals (e.g., Ketoconazole), anti-HIV drugs (e.g., Atazanavir), and other acid-reducing medications. Always inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking.
Long-term use of Pantoprazole (one of the ingredients) may be associated with an increased risk of bone fractures, kidney problems, and magnesium deficiency. Domperidone's long-term use should also be monitored, particularly concerning heart health. Your doctor will determine if long-term use is necessary and will monitor you accordingly.
Yes, lifestyle modifications can significantly help. These include avoiding spicy, fatty, or acidic foods, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, eating smaller, more frequent meals, not lying down immediately after eating, elevating the head of your bed, and quitting smoking.
Store NULOC D Capsule at room temperature, away from direct light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use expired medicine.
Yes, NULOC D Capsule is a prescription medicine and should only be taken under the supervision and advice of a registered medical practitioner.
NULOC D Capsule is generally not recommended for use in children without specific medical advice, and its use in pediatric patients needs careful consideration by a specialist.
NULOC typically contains only Pantoprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce stomach acid. NULOC D contains both Pantoprazole and Domperidone, which means it not only reduces acid but also helps with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and improving gut motility. The 'D' usually stands for Domperidone.
