About VELOZ D CAPSULE 10'S

Veloz D Capsule 10's is a medicine containing Domperidone 30 MG Sustained Release + Rabeprazole 20 MG. It is used for nausea and vomiting; symptoms of delayed gastric emptying such as fullness and bloating; and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease; erosive oesophagitis; peptic ulcer; Zollinger-Ellison syndrome; part of H. pylori regimens.
Veloz D Capsule 10's belongs to the dopamine D2 antagonist; prokinetic antiemetic; and proton pump inhibitor group of medicines.
Common side effects of Veloz D Capsule 10's include dry mouth, headache, abdominal cramps; and headache, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence.
Associated with QT prolongation and serious cardiac arrhythmia — restricted in several countries to the lowest dose for the shortest duration; and Long-term use is associated with reduced vitamin B12 and magnesium, increased fracture risk and C. difficile infection — periodic review of ongoing need is advised.
