  • POMALID 1MG CAPSULE 21'S is a chemotherapy medication containing the active ingredient Pomalidomide. It is classified as an immunomodulatory agent and is prescribed for the treatment of multiple myeloma in adult patients. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that primarily affects plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. In this condition, these cells proliferate uncontrollably and accumulate in the bone marrow, leading to damage to the bones and kidneys.
  • This medication works by modulating the immune system and directly targeting the cancerous plasma cells, helping to slow down the progression of the disease. POMALID 1MG CAPSULE 21'S is often used in combination with other medications to achieve the best possible outcome for patients with multiple myeloma.
  • Common side effects associated with POMALID 1MG CAPSULE 21'S include shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, back and bone pain, dizziness, tremors, upper respiratory tract infection, sleep disturbances, loss of appetite, lack of energy, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensations, low potassium levels in the blood, and anemia.
