ELTROCIB 50MG TABLET 7'S is an anticoagulant medication that contains Eltrombopag as its active ingredient. It belongs to the thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist category. This medicine is prescribed to increase platelet counts in individuals with low platelets due to primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune condition where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets. Platelets are crucial for blood clotting and maintaining the integrity of blood vessel walls.
