  • THROMPLAT 50MG TABLET 10'S is an anticoagulant drug that contains Eltrombopag as an active ingredient. It belongs to the thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist category. It is prescribed to treat low platelet counts resulting from primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets, which are essential blood cells for clotting and blood vessel integrity. When platelet counts are low, the risk of severe bleeding and bruising increases. Additionally, THROMPLAT 50MG TABLET 10'S is used in adults to manage low blood counts associated with severe aplastic anemia, a serious condition where the bone marrow fails to produce sufficient new blood cells.
  • This medication is not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to Eltrombopag or any of its components.
