VOGLIMAC GM 2MG TABLET is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
VOGLIMAC GM 2MG TABLET contains voglibose and metformin. Voglibose works by slowing down the breakdown of carbohydrates in the intestine, which reduces the rise in blood sugar levels after meals. Metformin works by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin.
The common side effects of VOGLIMAC GM 2MG TABLET include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and flatulence.
The safety of VOGLIMAC GM 2MG TABLET during pregnancy is not established. Therefore, it is not recommended during pregnancy unless considered clearly necessary by the doctor.
