Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), altered taste, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache, and upper respiratory infection are only a few of the possible adverse effects. Infrequent but severe side effects including lactic acidosis might result from its use. Long-term use might also result in a lack of vitamin B12.
GLICLAMERIT Tablet use can indeed result in hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level).
It is true that taking GLICLAMERIT Tablets can cause lactic acidosis. It is a medical emergency brought on by elevated lactic acid levels in the blood. It also goes by the name MALA (Metformin associated lactic acidosis). It is a rare adverse effect connected to metformin use.
