Some patients might experience hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially when taken with other diabetes medications. Less common but potentially serious side effects include lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body), which requires immediate medical attention. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or swelling can occur. Liver problems, although rare, have also been reported. Other possible side effects are headache, dizziness, constipation, and fatigue.

GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels.
GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and Glimepiride. Metformin works by decreasing glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity. Glimepiride belongs to a class of drugs called sulfonylureas. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas, leading to lower blood sugar levels.
GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels.
Common side effects of GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite.
It is generally recommended to take GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S with food to avoid stomach upset.
If you miss a dose of GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
Alcohol should be avoided while taking GLYTAS MF TABLET 10'S, as it can increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
