  • LEUPROSTA DEPOT 22.5MG INJECTION contains leuprolide acetate as an active ingredient, belonging to the Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonists drug class. It is primarily indicated for treating prostate cancer in men, hormone-responsive breast cancer, endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus), and uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths in the uterus) in women. Additionally, this medication is prescribed for precocious puberty, a condition characterized by the early onset of puberty in children due to hormonal imbalances. LEUPROSTA DEPOT works by reducing the amount of certain hormones in the body.
  • Avoid using LEUPROSTA DEPOT 22.5MG INJECTION if you have known allergies to leuprolide acetate or any other components of the injection, including goserelin and triptorelin. Inform your healthcare provider if you have liver or kidney problems before starting this medication. Also, disclose any instances of undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding.
