  • MICROLEP 22.5MG INJECTION contains Leuprolide acetate as its active ingredient, belonging to the class of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonists. It is prescribed for the treatment of prostate cancer in men, hormone-responsive breast cancer, endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus), and uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths in the uterus) in women. Furthermore, this medication is used to manage premature puberty in children, addressing early physical development caused by hormonal imbalances.
  • It is crucial to avoid this injection if you have a known allergy to Leuprolide acetate or any of its components, including Goserelin and Triptorelin. Before initiating treatment with MICROLEP 22.5MG INJECTION, inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing liver or kidney conditions. Disclose any instances of undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding. This treatment is contraindicated during pregnancy or if you are actively trying to conceive.
