NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication alone is not sufficient to control blood pressure.
NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps to prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S contains two medicines, Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily. Chlorthalidone is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that lowers blood pressure by removing excess water and electrolytes from the body.
Common side effects of NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S include dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and muscle cramps.
NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It can cause harm to the unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S is not recommended for breastfeeding women. It can pass into breast milk and harm the baby. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
Store NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Drinking alcohol with NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S may increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure.

If you miss a dose of NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.
NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S can interact with certain other medications, such as lithium, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and potassium-sparing diuretics. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking.
You should avoid foods high in potassium, such as bananas, oranges, and leafy green vegetables, while taking NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S. This is because NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S can increase potassium levels in the body.
Telvas CH 40mg tablet and NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S both contain Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone, but they are manufactured by different companies and may have different inactive ingredients.
Symptoms of an overdose of NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S may include dizziness, fainting, slow heartbeat, and excessive thirst. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect you have taken too much NEWTEL CH 40MG TABLET 10'S.
