Common side effects of OCTEL CT 12.5/40MG TABLET may include nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation, headache, dizziness, fatigue, dry mouth, and changes in taste. Some patients may experience muscle cramps or weakness. Less common but potentially serious side effects include allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), irregular heartbeat, changes in blood pressure, liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes), kidney problems, and changes in blood sugar levels. Notify your doctor immediately if you experience any severe or persistent side effects.

Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's is a combination of two medicines: Chlorthalidone and Telmisartan. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
It is used to lower high blood pressure. It helps in preventing strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes extra water and salt from the body.
Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, and vomiting.
Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's is not safe during pregnancy. It can harm the unborn baby.
Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's is not safe during breastfeeding. It can pass into breast milk and harm the baby.
The dosage is determined by the doctor. Usually, it is taken once a day.
It can be taken with or without food.
Store it at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. But, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
Drinking alcohol with Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's can increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness and lightheadedness.
Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's can interact with certain medications, such as lithium, NSAIDs, and potassium-sparing diuretics.
People with kidney disease should use Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's with caution. The dosage may need to be adjusted.
People with liver disease should use Octel CT 12.5/40mg Tablet 10's with caution. The dosage may need to be adjusted.
