  • ADSTROM 25MG TABLET 7'S contains Eltrombopag, an active ingredient that belongs to the thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist category and functions as an anticoagulant. It is prescribed to treat low platelet counts resulting from primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune condition where the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets, which are crucial for blood clotting and maintaining blood vessel integrity. Low platelet levels can lead to severe bleeding and easy bruising. This medication is also indicated for adults with low blood counts due to severe aplastic anemia, a serious condition in which the bone marrow fails to produce sufficient new blood cells.
  • This medication is not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to Eltrombopag or any of its constituents.
