About ELBOROM 25MG TABLET 10'S

  • ELBOROM 25MG TABLET 10'S is an anticoagulant medication that contains the active ingredient Eltrombopag. It belongs to a class of drugs known as thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonists. This medication is primarily used to treat low platelet counts in individuals with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune condition where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets, which are essential for blood clotting and maintaining the integrity of blood vessel walls. Low platelet levels can lead to severe bleeding and easy bruising. This tablet is also prescribed for adults with low blood counts resulting from severe aplastic anemia, a serious condition where the bone marrow fails to produce enough new blood cells.
  • This medication is not suitable for individuals who have a known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to Eltrombopag or any of the other components of the tablet. Allergic reactions can vary in severity, ranging from mild symptoms like rash and itching to more severe reactions such as swelling, dizziness, or difficulty breathing.
