  • ELTROCIB 25MG TABLET 7'S is an anticoagulant drug that contains the active ingredient Eltrombopag. It belongs to the thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist category. This medication is prescribed to treat low platelet counts in individuals with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP is an autoimmune disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets. Platelets are essential blood cells that facilitate blood clotting and maintain the integrity of blood vessel walls. Insufficient platelet levels can lead to increased bleeding and easy bruising. ELTROCIB 25MG TABLET 7'S is also indicated for adults experiencing low blood counts due to severe aplastic anaemia, a serious condition characterized by the bone marrow's inability to produce sufficient new blood cells.
  • This medication is not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to Eltrombopag or any of its components. Allergic reactions can manifest as mild to severe symptoms, including rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or difficulty breathing. ELTROCIB 25MG TABLET 7'S is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or active liver disease.
