LUPISIT DM 10/100/500MG TABLET 10'S can cause several side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation, and loss of appetite. Some individuals might experience headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, or fatigue. Less common but potentially serious side effects include liver problems (such as jaundice, dark urine, or persistent abdominal pain), kidney problems (such as changes in urine output), allergic reactions (such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing), and nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy, characterized by numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands or feet). Blood disorders such as decreased white blood cells or platelets are also possible, leading to increased risk of infection or bleeding. Changes in blood sugar levels, including hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or hyperglycemia (high blood sugar), may occur. Muscle pain or weakness (myopathy) and skin reactions (such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome) are rare but serious. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any unusual or severe side effects.
Allergies
AllergiesDo not use Lupisit DM 10/100/500mg Tablet if you are allergic to it.
LUPISIT DM 10/100/500MG TABLET 10'S is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, especially in patients whose blood sugar cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone.
LUPISIT DM contains three active ingredients: Sitagliptin (10mg), Metformin (100mg), and Vitamin D3 (500 IU).
Common side effects of LUPISIT DM include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. Some patients may also experience headache and fatigue.
LUPISIT DM is generally recommended to be taken with food to minimize stomach upset. Follow your doctor's instructions.
If you miss a dose of LUPISIT DM, take it as soon as you remember. If it's close to your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
Yes, LUPISIT DM can interact with certain other medications. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements.
Store LUPISIT DM at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The safety of LUPISIT DM during pregnancy has not been established. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
It is not known whether LUPISIT DM is excreted in breast milk. Consult your doctor before using this medication while breastfeeding.
LUPISIT DM is not typically associated with weight gain. In fact, some patients may experience slight weight loss due to Metformin.
Drinking alcohol while taking LUPISIT DM is not recommended as it can increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and worsen the side effects of Metformin.
Symptoms of an overdose of LUPISIT DM may include severe nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, and extreme fatigue. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose.
LUPISIT DM should be used with caution in people with kidney problems as Metformin is excreted by the kidneys. Its use is generally not recommended in patients with significant kidney disease. Consult your doctor.
It may take a few days to a few weeks for LUPISIT DM to start working and lower blood sugar levels. Your doctor will monitor your blood sugar levels and adjust your dosage as needed.
Long-term use of Metformin can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency. Your doctor may monitor your vitamin B12 levels periodically and recommend supplementation if needed.
