Less common but potentially serious side effects include: Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), Liver problems (jaundice, dark urine), Kidney problems, Lactic acidosis (muscle cramps, rapid breathing, stomach pain), Decreased Vitamin B12 absorption, Changes in blood cell counts. It is important to contact your doctor immediately if you experience any severe or persistent side effects.

OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, along with diet and exercise, to control high blood sugar levels.
Take OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Usually, it is taken orally with food to avoid stomach upset. Follow the dosage instructions carefully.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
If you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia (such as sweating, shaking, rapid heartbeat, blurred vision, or confusion), consume a fast-acting source of sugar like juice, honey, or candy. Then, check your blood sugar and consult your doctor.
It is generally not recommended to drink alcohol while taking OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet, as it can increase the risk of hypoglycemia and interfere with blood sugar control.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
Store OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children.
OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet may not be safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
OPGLIM MP 2MG Tablet can interact with several medications. Inform your doctor about all the medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter drugs, herbal supplements, and vitamins.
