Ziglim Plus 2mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It helps lower blood sugar when exercise and diet alone are not enough.
Ziglim Plus 2mg Tablet contains Glimepiride and Metformin as active ingredients.
Glimepiride works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas, and Metformin works by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin.
Common side effects of Ziglim Plus 2mg Tablet include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and headache.
Patients with kidney problems should use Ziglim Plus 2mg Tablet with caution, as Metformin is excreted by the kidneys and may accumulate in patients with kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
