Like all medicines, TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. Common side effects often include digestive issues such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. Some individuals might experience a metallic taste in the mouth, headaches, dizziness, or cold-like symptoms (nasopharyngitis). Less common but important side effects can include skin rash or itching. Rarely, severe conditions like lactic acidosis (symptoms include severe tiredness, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, stomach pain with vomiting) or inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis) may occur. If any side effect bothers you or persists, or if you experience any severe or unusual symptoms, it's crucial to consult your doctor immediately.

Allergies
UnsafeTENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET 10'S is unsafe if you have a known allergy to any of its ingredients. Seek immediate medical attention if allergic reactions occur.
TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially in patients whose blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled by diet, exercise, or metformin alone.
TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET contains two active ingredients: Teneligliptin (a DPP-4 inhibitor) and Metformin Hydrochloride (a biguanide).
Teneligliptin works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP) produced in the gut, which in turn enhances insulin secretion after meals and reduces glucose production. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver, decreases glucose absorption from the intestines, and improves the body's sensitivity to insulin.
Common side effects of TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, metallic taste, and headache. Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can also occur if used with other antidiabetic drugs.
TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET is usually taken with meals to minimize stomach upset caused by Metformin. Always follow your doctor's instructions for your specific dosage and timing.
TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET should be used with caution if you have kidney problems. Metformin is primarily excreted by the kidneys, and impaired kidney function increases the risk of lactic acidosis. Your doctor may adjust the dose or prescribe an alternative medication based on your kidney function.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. Never double the dose to make up for a missed one.
Symptoms of an overdose of TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET can include severe hypoglycemia (dizziness, confusion, sweating), lactic acidosis (muscle pain, unusual tiredness, trouble breathing, stomach pain), and severe gastrointestinal issues. Seek immediate medical attention.
Limited data is available on the safety of TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly necessary and advised by a doctor.
Metformin is generally associated with modest weight loss or weight neutrality, while Teneligliptin is typically weight-neutral. Therefore, TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET is unlikely to cause significant weight gain.
Alcohol consumption should be limited or avoided while taking TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET. Alcohol can increase the risk of lactic acidosis, a serious side effect of Metformin, and can also affect blood sugar levels.
Store TENLIGRESS M 1000MG TABLET at room temperature, away from moisture and direct light. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Yes, chemically, it contains the same active ingredients (Teneligliptin and Metformin). However, different brands may have variations in excipients and manufacturing processes. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have concerns about switching brands.
Lactic acidosis is a rare but serious condition involving the build-up of lactic acid in the blood, which can be life-threatening. Metformin can cause it, especially in patients with kidney problems, heart failure, severe infection, or those who consume excessive alcohol. Symptoms include muscle pain, unusual tiredness, trouble breathing, and stomach pain.
Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition, and medications like TENLIGRESS M are usually taken long-term as part of a comprehensive management plan including diet and exercise. Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
I recently had a great experience with Medkart Pharmacy and wanted to share my positive review. The service they provided for medicines was outstanding. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also very friendly and eager to assist. They helped me find the right medicines and even provided valuable information about potential interactions and side effects. Furthermore, the pharmacy had a wide range of medicines in stock, making it convenient for me to get everything I needed in one place. Their prices were competitive, and I appreciated the affordability of the medications. I also want to highlight their quick and efficient service. My prescriptions were filled promptly, and I didn't have to wait long at all. Overall, I highly recommend Medkart Pharmacy for their excellent service, knowledgeable staff, and convenience. They made the process of getting my medicines easy and stress-free. I'll definitely be returning for my future pharmaceutical needs.
