The most common side effects of Amaryl M1 Tablet are hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), nausea, diarrhea, altered taste, and stomach pain. Other possible side effects include: Headache, Dizziness, Vomiting, Weakness, Visual disturbances, Liver problems (such as jaundice), Skin reactions (rash, itching, hives), Decreased blood cell counts (anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia), Allergic reactions, Weight gain, Edema (swelling), Increased liver enzymes.

Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It contains two medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin.
Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's is used to control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.
Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's works in two ways: Glimepiride increases the amount of insulin that the pancreas releases, and Metformin makes your body more sensitive to insulin and reduces the amount of glucose being made by the liver.
Common side effects of Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain.
Take Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily with food.
Serious side effects of Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's are rare, but can include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), liver problems, and lactic acidosis.
If you miss a dose of Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as normal. Do not take two doses at the same time.
Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's can interact with many other medications, so it is important to tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.
Store Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
Talk to your doctor before taking Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Other brands of Metformin include Glucophage, Glucophage XR, Fortamet, and Riomet.
Other brands of Glimepiride include Amaryl.
Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's can cause weight gain in some people. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about this.
How long you need to take Amaryl M1 Tablet 20's will be determined by your doctor. Most people with type 2 diabetes need to take it for life.
