Other possible side effects are headache, dizziness, weakness, and visual disturbances. Glimestar M 1mg Tablet 10's is a combination of two medicines: glimepiride and metformin. It is used to lower high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
Glimestar M 1mg Tablet 10's works in two ways: glimepiride works by increasing the amount of insulin released from the pancreas, while metformin works by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and by making the body more sensitive to insulin.
