Symptoms can include sweating, trembling, anxiety, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, headache, hunger, confusion, and irritability. * Nausea * Vomiting * Diarrhea * Abdominal pain **Uncommon side effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):** * Elevated liver enzymes * Allergic reactions: These can include skin rash, itching, hives, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. **Rare side effects (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people):** * Blood disorders: These can include decreased white blood cells (increased risk of infection), decreased red blood cells (anemia), and decreased platelets (increased risk of bleeding or bruising). * Cholestasis (jaundice): Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes. * Severe allergic reactions: Difficulty breathing, wheezing, or a drop in blood pressure. **Very rare side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):** * Lactic acidosis: Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, muscle cramps, and difficulty breathing. * Visual disturbances: These may be temporary and occur at the start of treatment. * Hyponatremia: Low sodium levels in the blood. **Other possible side effects:** * Headache * Dizziness * Fatigue * Weakness **Important note:** This is not a complete list of all possible side effects.
