Possible side effects of GLIMP M1 SR Tablet may include: * Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms can include sweating, shaking, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, blurred vision, dizziness, or hunger. * Nausea and Vomiting * Diarrhea * Abdominal pain * Headache * Metallic taste * Weakness * Skin rash or itching * Dizziness * Sleepiness * Changes in blood counts (rare) * Liver problems (rare) * Lactic acidosis (rare, but serious). Symptoms include feeling very weak, tired or uncomfortable; unusual muscle pain, trouble breathing, stomach pain with nausea and vomiting, feeling cold, especially in the arms and legs, feeling dizzy or lightheaded, and a slow or irregular heartbeat. * Visual disturbances * Allergic reactions This is not an exhaustive list. Glimp M1 SR Tablet 10'S is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially when diet and exercise are not enough to control blood sugar levels adequately.
Glimp M1 SR Tablet 10'S is a combination of two medicines, Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride works by increasing the release of insulin, while Metformin works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin and decreasing glucose production in the liver.
