About RISTOVA 100MG/10ML INJECTION

RISTOVA 100MG/10ML INJECTION contains the active ingredient rituximab. It is used to treat several different conditions in adults and some conditions in children. This injection is used alone or with other medicines to treat certain types of blood cancers: Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (a cancer affecting white blood cells called B-lymphocytes) and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (a common form of cancer affecting B-cells). It is also prescribed for moderate-to-severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks its own joints) when used in combination with methotrexate in adults. Additionally, it treats Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis or Microscopic Polyangiitis (conditions causing inflammation of blood vessels, often affecting the lungs and kidneys) in adults and children aged 2 years and older. It is also indicated for moderate to severe Pemphigus Vulgaris (an autoimmune condition that causes painful blisters on the skin, mouth lining, and other areas).
RISTOVA 100MG/10ML INJECTION belongs to a group of medicines called anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies. This means it targets specific cells in your body that have a marker called CD20, often helping to control the disease. Do not use this injection if you are allergic to rituximab or any other ingredients in it, have a severely weakened immune system, or have a serious active infection. It is important to tell your doctor before starting treatment if you have heart problems, heart failure, or breathing difficulties, as these can be affected by the infusion. You should also inform your doctor if you have ever had a Hepatitis B infection, as this medicine can sometimes cause the infection to become active again, which can be serious. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not recommended while receiving this injection, and you should use effective contraception.
Common side effects you might experience with RISTOVA 100MG/10ML INJECTION include increased risk of infection, lower numbers of red blood cells, feeling dizzy, swelling in the face or body, itchy skin, diarrhea, increased sweating, and changes in blood pressure (low or high). Use reliable birth control methods during the treatment period and for 12 months after your last dose if there is a possibility of becoming pregnant. This medicine can cause severe reactions called infusion reactions during or within 24 hours after it is given.
