  • LUPIXIMAB 100 INJECTION contains rituximab as its active ingredient. It is prescribed for various conditions in adults, either alone or in conjunction with other medications. These conditions include non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer affecting B-lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, another common cancer affecting B-cells. This injection is also indicated for the treatment of moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the joints, in combination with methotrexate.
  • Further applications of LUPIXIMAB 100 INJECTION include the treatment of granulomatosis with polyangiitis and microscopic polyangiitis, both inflammatory conditions affecting blood vessels, particularly in the lungs and kidneys, in both adults and children aged 2 years and older. Additionally, it is used to manage moderate to severe pemphigus vulgaris, an autoimmune disorder causing painful blisters on the skin and mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, nose, and genitals. This medication works by targeting the CD20 protein found on B cells, leading to their depletion and reducing the severity of autoimmune and cancerous processes.
