These often subside as your body adjusts to the medication. Symptoms include sweating, shakiness, confusion, rapid heartbeat, blurred vision, and extreme hunger. Lactic Acidosis (Rare but Serious): A very rare but life-threatening condition. Symptoms include unusual muscle pain, trouble breathing, unusual stomach discomfort, dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling cold, or very tired. Pancreatitis (Inflammation of the Pancreas - Rare): Symptoms include severe stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting. Allergic Reactions: Skin rash, itching, swelling (especially of the face, tongue, or throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing. Vitamin B12 Deficiency: Long-term use may lead to this, causing fatigue, weakness, or numbness/tingling in hands/feet. Always consult your doctor if any side effect bothers you or persists.

Allergies
UnsafeREVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET 10'S is unsafe if you have a known allergy to any of its components.
REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET is a combination medicine used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It helps to lower high blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are not enough.
The active ingredients in REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET are Teneligliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride. Teneligliptin belongs to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors, and Metformin is a biguanide.
Teneligliptin works by increasing the levels of natural substances called incretins, which help the body produce more insulin when blood sugar is high and reduce the amount of sugar produced by the liver. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver, decreases glucose absorption from the intestines, and increases the body's sensitivity to insulin. Together, they effectively lower blood sugar levels.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, metallic taste in mouth, headache, and dizziness. Most of these are mild and transient. If they persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Take REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken with food to minimize stomach upset. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet; swallow it whole.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
While no specific dietary restrictions are imposed by the medicine itself, it is crucial to follow a healthy, balanced diet recommended for diabetes management (low in sugar and refined carbohydrates). This medicine works best when combined with a proper diet and regular exercise.
REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET, especially due to its Teneligliptin component, generally has a low risk of causing hypoglycemia when used alone. However, the risk increases if it's taken with other anti-diabetic medications like insulin or sulfonylureas, or if meals are skipped. Be aware of symptoms like sweating, dizziness, confusion, and hunger.
It is generally advisable to limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET, especially due to the Metformin component. Alcohol can increase the risk of lactic acidosis, a rare but serious side effect, and can also affect blood sugar levels.
REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding, as alternative treatments might be necessary.
Before starting REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET, inform your doctor about your complete medical history, especially if you have kidney or liver problems, heart conditions, severe infections, or are undergoing any surgery. Regular monitoring of kidney function is important.
Store REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET at room temperature (below 30°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use expired medication.
In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center. Symptoms of overdose may include severe hypoglycemia, lactic acidosis, or gastrointestinal disturbances.
Yes, REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET can often be taken with other diabetes medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, but only under strict medical supervision. Your doctor will determine the appropriate combination and monitor for any interactions.
Lactic acidosis is a rare but serious side effect associated with Metformin. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms like severe muscle pain, unusual tiredness, difficulty breathing, stomach pain with vomiting, slow or irregular heartbeat, or feeling cold.
No, REVOGLIP M 500MG TABLET is only for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It is not indicated for Type 1 diabetes, where insulin therapy is essential as the body does not produce insulin.
