Like all medicines, Glimiride M2 Tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. **Common Side Effects (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):** * Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Symptoms may include shakiness, sweating, anxiety, blurred vision, tingling lips, paleness, headache, sudden changes in mood or feelings, clumsiness, difficulty in concentrating. * Nausea * Vomiting * Diarrhea * Stomach pain **Uncommon Side Effects (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):** * Elevated liver enzymes **Rare Side Effects (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people):** * Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count): This can increase the risk of bleeding or bruising. * Leukopenia (low white blood cell count) * Allergic reactions: Symptoms may include skin rash, itching, hives, or difficulty breathing. **Very Rare Side Effects (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):** * Severe allergic reactions: Symptoms may include swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, and shock. * Liver problems: Symptoms may include jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), dark urine, and abdominal pain. * Skin reactions: such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis. **Other Possible Side Effects:** * Visual disturbances * Headache * Dizziness **Important Note:** This is not an exhaustive list.
