K Glim M 2mg Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels. It helps lower blood sugar levels.
Take K Glim M 2mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. It is usually taken once daily, preferably with a meal.
Common side effects of K Glim M 2mg Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption while taking K Glim M 2mg Tablet, as it can increase the risk of hypoglycemia and other side effects.
If you miss a dose of K Glim M 2mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
K Glim M 2mg Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for appropriate alternatives.
Store K Glim M 2mg Tablet at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children.
K Glim M 2mg Tablet contains Glimepiride 2mg and Metformin.
Weight gain is a possible side effect of K Glim M 2mg Tablet, but it is not common. Discuss any concerns about weight changes with your doctor.
In case of an overdose of K Glim M 2mg Tablet, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of overdose may include severe hypoglycemia, nausea, vomiting, and loss of consciousness.
K Glim M 2mg Tablet can interact with other medications, including other diabetes medications, blood pressure medications, and certain antibiotics. Inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking.
In rare cases, K Glim M 2mg Tablet can cause kidney problems, especially in people with pre-existing kidney conditions. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function while you are taking this medication.
While taking K Glim M 2mg Tablet, follow a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. Avoid sugary foods and beverages.
If you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) such as sweating, shakiness, dizziness, or confusion, consume a quick source of sugar such as glucose tablets, fruit juice, or a sugary snack. Monitor your blood sugar levels and consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
K Glim M 2mg Tablet can cause hypoglycemia, which may impair your ability to drive or operate machinery safely. Exercise caution and monitor your blood sugar levels regularly.
