- ENFIERA 500 INJECTION contains the active ingredient rituximab. This medicine is used to treat several different conditions in adults. It can be used alone or with other medicines. ENFIERA 500 INJECTION is also used for moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis in adults, especially when used with another medicine called methotrexate. Rheumatoid Arthritis is a condition where your immune system mistakenly attacks your own joints, causing pain and swelling.
- Beyond these, ENFIERA 500 INJECTION is used for rare conditions involving inflamed blood vessels, such as Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis or Microscopic Polyangiitis, in adults and children aged 2 years and older. These conditions often affect organs like the lungs and kidneys. It is also used to treat moderate to severe Pemphigus Vulgaris, which is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks the skin and mucous membranes, causing painful blisters inside the mouth, throat, nose, and genitals, as well as on the skin.
