- REDITUX 500 INJECTION contains the active ingredient rituximab. This medicine is used to treat several serious health conditions in adults. This includes moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, a condition causing joint inflammation, usually given alongside methotrexate. It's also used for Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis or Microscopic Polyangiitis, rare diseases causing blood vessel inflammation that can affect organs like the lungs and kidneys; this use extends to children aged 2 years and older.
